I've heard of folks using chains to add progressive resistance to bench work, DLs, and squats. I imagine they could be put to use on rows, as well.. When I priced them out however, I learned that a set can run well over $100.
Then I remembered that I have tire chains for the truck and the camper that are already bought and paid for. I also could probably get a set of old rusty chains for a lot less.
Not elegant or pretty, but then again, that's not the point.
I'll probably try chains later on, but for now, I have my hands quite full with what I am doing now, as-is.
